August was a quiet one for me as I do not take on many weddings as I devote more family time. However I did have this fabulous teepee wedding of Vicki and Steve's at The King William Inn near Bawtry with Papakata.

Yes I did manage to get peonies in August! Vicki wanted a real bright pop wedding so I used Coral peonies, orange dahlias, celosia, pink piano roses, cerise roses, with purple clematis. Also had British grown amaranths.

Also the flower swing was stunning full of the flowers themed for her wedding.

For the tables Vicki bought some geometric lanterns for flowers to be placed inside.

I bought huge Milk churns which are now available to hire for any future weddings which was placed outside.

August for me is more time with my family. I try not to take on many weddings in this month because i'm also contracted out freelancing and helping out at Florists.
It was my little girls birthday so we went to Norfolk for a couple of days.

Then we had a lovely family day to Ingleton Waterfall which was spectacular.

I will be announcing a special Christmas workshop at Hirst Priory in December so watch out for this week.
